Manage, Coordinate and Engineer the construction of these large AC & DC Traction Motor Test Stands using a “Hands On” approach.
Brockville, ON.
Upgrading a Commutator Undercutting Lathe from Relay Logic Control to a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with a Human Machine Interface (HMI) operator station made this machine more reliable.

Relays and Timers took up a lot of space and prone to failure.
The PLC and a new AC Drive used less space. The HMI was more user friendly.
Iroquois, ON.
Determined the overload problem with this Schrage Motor. This is a Self-Contained Variable AC Motor whose technology was developed in the 1930’s. It was diagnosed that the commutator and slip rings needed to be machined and a whole new set of brushes installed.

Photo Voltaic (PV) Solar Installation. This is a 10 kW / 2 Array / Tracking System with Snow Cover and Wind Speed Sensors.
